Responsibilities

  • Perform a full range of clinical diagnosis and chiropractic treatment for commonly occurring neuro-musculoskeletal conditions including subluxation complex.
  • Provide basic education and information to patients, ensuring their questions are addressed and answered.
  • Participate in the diagnostic process by reviewing patients' health and medical histories, questioning, observing, and examining patients, interpreting x-rays, and advising patients about recommended courses of treatment.
  • Perform manual adjustments to the spine and other articulations of the body as needed to improve patients' musculoskeletal system health.
  • Interview patients, obtain patient history, and update all information in the EHR according to standards.
  • Consult with staff medical providers regarding medical management of patients and common musculoskeletal problems encountered in the clinic.
  • Communicate on the planning and direction of the primary care team as it relates to musculoskeletal system care.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree
  • California Chiropractic License
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Ability to travel between community health centers

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency in Spanish preferred, not required
