About The Position

The Chiropractic Assistant (CA) will provide essential support to the chiropractor and assist in delivering patient care through various tasks including physiotherapy oversight, patient exams, and collaboration with medical professionals. This role requires a hands-on approach to patient engagement and education, ensuring a smooth workflow in a professional medical office environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years' experience as a Chiropractic Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors with performing initial patient intake exams and taking detailed history, entering new patient notes into EMR.
• Shooting x-rays ordered by doctors, maintaining x-ray machine room cleanliness and organization.
• Performing detailed re-exams, entering notes, and updating doctors on patient progress.
• Engaging with and educating patients about their care.
• Answering phones and learning the scheduling system to assist as needed.
• Learning about DME products in the office and educating patients on these products.
• Taking inventory, ordering products, and organizing closets.
• Assisting with patient flow as needed.
• Performing clerical duties at the front desk when required.
