About The Position

We have an excellent opportunity for Chipper Operators on our Chipseal crew in Boise, Idaho.

Requirements

• General knowledge of chip seal road construction helpful
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to work day shifts and night shifts. Shifts may vary according to project demands
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be willing to travel if job requires
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned tasks as directed. This may include various equipment operations and laboring
• Knowledge of Chipper Spreader equipment a plus
• Person shall demonstrate the ability to safely and productively perform duties as assigned
• Person shall communicate and listen effectively
• Perform general maintenance and grease equipment as necessary
• Persons shall be able to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all personnel
• Job requires steady to intermittent and repetitive physical activity including: standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, walking on uneven ground, lifting, carrying, pushing, shoveling, and raking
