Requirements

Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
2 years of trucking experience preferred
Winter mountain driving experience preferred
Acceptable driver’s abstract, based on Sutco’s abstract review policy
Must be able to pass pre-employment DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing.
Ability to enter Canada for work purposes (COVID-19 vaccine no longer required to enter Canada)

Nice To Haves

2 years of trucking experience preferred
Winter mountain driving experience preferred

Responsibilities

Conduct pre and post trip inspections on equipment operated, ensuring safety, road worthiness and regulatory compliance.
Load and unload wood residual fiber products in a safe and efficient manner.
Ensure safe transportation of freight by securing goods while loading and unloading.
Tarp vehicle using manual or auto tarps as available.
Chain-up vehicle based on road conditions.
Complete all electronic records regarding working hours, vehicle status and maintenance records using the industry’s best fleet management system, ISAAC.
Ensure trucks are left clean and safe at the end of each shift.
