About The Position

Requirements

• Knowledge of addiction counseling techniques and behavioral health practices is beneficial.
• Familiarity with child welfare policies and crisis intervention strategies is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a commitment to advocating for client needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments to identify the needs of clients and develop individualized service plans.
• Provide mentoring and support to clients in navigating social services, including Section 8 housing assistance and Medicare.
• Offer addiction counseling and crisis intervention services to individuals facing substance use challenges.
• Collaborate with community organizations and agencies to facilitate access to resources for clients.
• Supervise case management activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
• Engage in child welfare initiatives, advocating for the safety and well-being of children in vulnerable situations.
• Implement behavioral health strategies to support clients dealing with mental health issues.
• Participate in crisis management efforts, providing immediate support during emergencies or critical situations.
