About The Position
The Chinese (Mandarin) Immersion Teacher position is located in the Five College area of Hadley/Amherst, Massachusetts, and requires in-person teaching at PVCICS. The role involves planning, developing, and implementing class curriculum compliant with state and International Baccalaureate (IB) standards under the supervision of the Principal or designee. The teacher will develop and teach curriculum for Chinese language and culture, provide direct services to students, consult with other professionals, and engage with parents. The position also includes assessing and documenting student progress, maintaining accurate records of academic performance, and performing other duties similar to other teachers as assigned by administration. The ideal candidate will be energetic, enthusiastic, and creative, with strong communication skills.
