FRESH PLANT: 1st Shift CHILLERS Backup Rehanger PR04
About The Position
This position is responsible for visually inspecting the birds on the chiller rehang conveyor for missing parts and hanging the birds on the overhead line shackles or placing elsewhere as grade dictates. You must be able to successfully hang a minimum of 28 birds per minute throughout an 8-hour workday, with breaks. These positions require the ability to push, pull, carry, or lift 50+ pounds. Jobs are fast paced and may require repetitive motion. Must be able to work in damp cold or damp hot environments, use of hands and arms above shoulder level and be able to stand 8 to 10 hours a day. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment: ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard, wraps and/or aprons, cut gloves and arm guards. Must be able to work under minimum supervision. Must keep work area clean. Must be able to use a knife/scissors. Must be able to maintain line speed. Must be able to do minimal stooping and bending. All Tyson Team Members are responsible for safety. This includes but is not limited to personal and food safety.
