About The Position

CCS Construction Staffing is hiring Chilled Water Pipe Plumbers or Pipefitters for a major chilled water piping project in Lacassine, LA. We need candidates with strong experience working with large-diameter PVC pipe and chilled water systems. Whether you come from a plumbing or pipefitting background, the key is proven skill installing chilled water piping loops and large bore PVC piping under commercial/industrial conditions. Work Scope Includes Installing and routing large-diameter chilled water piping loops using schedule PVC (and other approved materials) per specs for mechanical chilled-water systems. Measuring, cutting, solvent-welding or gluing PVC pipe fittings, assembling hangers, supports and system routing. Connecting, installing and supporting chilled water pumps, valves, flanges, and equipment as part of an HVAC chilled water loop. Reading and interpreting blueprints, project mechanical drawings, PVC piping schedules and assembly detail for chilled water systems. Installing supports, hangers, and pipe restraint systems to meet building code and mechanical standards. Testing, pressure-checking, and inspecting chilled water piping for leaks, alignment, insulation readiness, and correct placement (including work with insulation where required).

Requirements

Proven experience working on chilled water piping systems-or large industrial/ commercial chilled water loops using PVC or equivalent materials.
Experience specifically with large-diameter PVC pipe installation is highly required.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and routing plans for chilled water systems.
Must provide required hand/pipefitting tools and PPE.
Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Reliable transportation to Lacassine, LA (and ability to travel locally as required).

Responsibilities
