Chilled Water Operations Service Manager
About The Position
Mako Industries is hiring a Chilled Water Operations Service Manager that will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and service delivery of chilled water systems, ensuring optimal performance, energy efficiency, and reliability. This role manages service technicians, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and contractual standards while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Manage day-to-day operations of chilled water services, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, piping, and control systems. Experience with Carrier, Trane, York and Daikin centrifugal chillers. Maintaining, servicing, repairing and installing colling tower and other related HVAC equipment. Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities Lead, train, and evaluate technicians and service staff Monitor system performance, energy consumption, and efficiency metrics; recommend improvements Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies Manage service contracts, SLAs, and customer relationships Troubleshoot complex system issues and support root-cause analysis Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and cost-control initiatives Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation Support commissioning, upgrades, and retrofit projects as required
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in chilled water systems and/or HVAC services, with supervisory or managerial experience
- Strong knowledge of large-scale chilled water systems and district cooling systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Technical expertise in HVAC and chilled water systems
- Team leadership and people management

- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong planning and organizational abilities
