About The Position
Welcome to Aqua-Tots! We are dedicated to saving lives by teaching children how to become safe and confident swimmers for life. Our swim school operates year-round, utilizing indoor heated pools maintained at a comfortable 90 degrees. We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals who want to make a difference in children's lives every day. As a Water Safety Instructor, you will teach the Aqua-Tots Curriculum to children aged 4 months to 12 years old. We are willing to train anyone who has a friendly demeanor, an eagerness to learn, and a love for children. Your role will involve providing instructive feedback to both parents and children, recognizing and understanding the progression and level of swimming ability, and maintaining a clean and safe pool environment before and after each shift. You will also be required to fill out and file Aqua-Cards and attend staff meetings and regular in-service training to ensure ongoing growth and development in your teaching skills.
