About The Position

The Children's Program Specialist-Master Teacher at Butte-Glenn Community College is responsible for providing high-quality childcare and lab instruction at the Child Development Center (CDC). This role emphasizes creating an inclusive and stimulating environment for children while fostering partnerships with families and supporting the development of college students in early childhood education. The position operates on a 9-month schedule, aligning with the academic calendar, and focuses on celebrating diversity and promoting responsive, relationship-based care.

Requirements

• Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR cards, or proof of course enrollment.
• Master Teacher Permit, or proof that your application to obtain your Master Teacher Permit has been submitted.
• Transcripts showing at least three (3) semester units in infant care and three (3) semester units of supervised field experience in an Early Childhood Education/Child Development setting.
