About The Position
The Children's Director at Arise Church is a pivotal role designed to provide leadership and curriculum assistance to the Arise Kids Department. This position is essential for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the overall kids ministry. The Children's Director will serve as the first point of contact for all internal and external operations related to Arise Kids, playing a crucial role in managing the Dream Team and overseeing various projects and initiatives. The role requires a deep commitment to ministry, particularly in nurturing children's spiritual growth and fostering a love for God's Word. In this part-time position, the Children's Director will be responsible for writing and brainstorming new material for Family Devotionals, developing small group material questions, and distributing all curriculum materials to the Arise Kids Dream Team members. The director will oversee all operations of Arise Kids, ensuring a successful Sunday experience, and will directly manage security and check-in procedures. This role also involves responding to emergencies and urgent issues, maintaining communication with the Arise Kids team on Sundays, and ensuring timely responses to emails and phone calls. Additionally, the Children's Director will work to build the Arise Kids Dream Team volunteer base, coordinate with other departments, and oversee special events. Participation in weekly staff meetings to discuss enhancements to the Sunday experience and upcoming events is also a key responsibility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a heart for service, aligning with the vision of Arise Church and fulfilling the Great Commission with integrity and passion.
