About The Position

Children’s Therapist / Counselor OMNI – Illinois | Full-Time or Part-Time OMNI, a trusted mental health provider serving families for over 50 years, is seeking a dedicated, Children’s Therapist/Counselor. Candidates who are bilingual in English/Spanish are preferred. In this role, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents within a trauma-informed, client-centered, and evidence-based framework. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related human services field
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written) required.
  • Must have current Illinois licensure as one of the following: LSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, or CADC.
  • Experience or interest in child therapy, adolescent therapy, and trauma-informed care
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as required
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work with diverse client populations and maintain cultural sensitivity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English/Spanish (fluent both verbal and written) are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents
  • Use trauma-informed, evidence-based therapy approaches in all sessions
  • Conduct comprehensive intake, assessment, treatment planning, and diagnosis
  • Maintain client files with clear, concise documentation in compliance with OMNI policies and contractual requirements
  • Prepare required reports, case notes, and documentation for billing and program monitoring
  • Participate in program planning, team meetings, and supervision
  • Maintain communication with schools, referral sources, and other collateral contacts
  • Provide 24-hour crisis intervention services as needed
