Johnson County Mental Health Center is partnering with USD 231 (Gardner Edgerton School District) for a School Crisis Responder. The Crisis Responder will provide interventions, assessments and follow-up for individuals who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This position works as a member of JCMHC’s Children and Family Services Division and provides services and works in collaboration with USD 231. The Crisis Responder will have an office within Gardner Edgerton school system. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. The schedule may include some meetings or trainings outside their schedule, so flexibility is necessary. Position will remain open until filled. Johnson County has implemented a skill-based pay plan of up to $4200 annually for staff who have obtained licensure by the BSRB at the Clinical Level.
