About The Position

To promote the mission of PATH to help individuals achieve a more independent and fulfilling life by being an effective team member. The Children/Youth Services Drug & Alcohol Therapist will be responsible for the delivery of clinical services, to adolescents and their families who are either at risk for or actively engaging in substance use/abuse.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in human services field from an accredited college or university
  • One year post-Master's experience working with youth/families and drug & alcohol experience required.
  • Knowledge of substance use issues and treatment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

  • LCSW, LMFT, LPC preferred.
  • License eligible within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, couple and group therapy for adolescents and their families utilizing approved treatment modalities and interventions
  • Collaborate closely with all systems involved with each assigned youth and document all case management activity
  • Be aware of clients’ financial liabilities, coordinate any financial changes with PATH’s Billing Department, and assist clients in securing third party resources when indicated
  • Complete all required documentation including treatment plans, assessments, annual reviews, progress notes and discharge summaries in a timely, comprehensive and legible manner and in accordance with PATH policies and procedures
  • Contribute to any quality improvement/outcome measurement tracking, development and data gathering as assigned
  • Collect all pertinent information and provide comprehensive assessments in accordance with PATH policies and procedures
  • Be flexible in scheduling appointments to meet youth/family needs
  • Meet productivity standards for your position, which includes direct and indirect standards.
  • Provide community based services and/or service delivery as assigned
