About The Position

Make a difference in the classroom—without the pressure of being the lead. We’re hiring Support Teachers who love working with young children and enjoy being an extra set of caring, capable hands in early childhood classrooms. This role is perfect for teachers who want flexibility, but consistency as this position is for the remainder of the school year (May 2026).

Requirements

• At least 12 months of experience in a preschool or childcare setting
• High school diploma or equivalent (ECE coursework or CDA a plus)
• Must be 18 years or older
• Patient, dependable, and comfortable working with young children
• Able to pass required background checks and health clearances

Responsibilities

• Support lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
• Assist with transitions, meals, nap time, and play-based learning
• Help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children
• Provide extra attention and care to children as needed
• Follow center routines and state licensing requirements
