About The Position

The Childcare Provider at Kid Kare Logan Health is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. Requirements

  • Minimum of eighteen (18) years of age required.
  • Associate's degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education preferred.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in early childhood education preferred.
  • Successful completion of licensing training as applicable to assigned area(s) preferred.
  • Completion of all state required early childhood training classes preferred.
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification obtained within thirty (30) days of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in caregiving and childcare preferred.
  • Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment by monitoring child areas for hazards or sanitation problems.
  • Provide required adult supervision for all children at all times.
  • Create a stimulating, cognitively challenging classroom environment that encourages exploration and experimentation.
  • Understand and comply with Montana state daycare licensure requirements.
  • Accurately complete all documentation assignments related to assigned areas.
  • Provide training to help children develop good health, safety, nutrition, and exercise habits.
  • Assist in preparing, planning, and implementing age-appropriate learning experiences indoors and outdoors.
  • Respect cultural diversity and the diversity of physical abilities of children.
  • Interact professionally and respectfully with children, family members, and staff.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
