About The Position

Our state-licensed Child Development Center is focused on providing the highest quality of care to young children through a unique intergenerational environment with a three-star quality assurance rating. Our curriculum focuses on learning through play, emphasizing literacy, math, music, and art. Our campus also offers living opportunities to older adults, creating an environment that is both nurturing and inclusive. We are currently seeking an experienced and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. As a Childcare Provider, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children, implementing our curriculum and supporting children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through a play-based learning approach.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of child development and early childhood education.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Create a nurturing and safe environment that supports children’s physical, emotional, and social development.
Implement the developmentally appropriate curriculum that focuses on learning through play while maintaining accurate records of each child’s development.
Provide individualized attention and encouragement to each child, helping them develop socially, emotionally, and cognitively.
Foster a positive and respectful relationship with parents and families.
Maintain accurate records of each child’s development, progress, and behavior.
Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
