About The Position

We welcome your interest in joining us and look forward to meeting you! The NELC provides in-district daycare and preschool programs for the staff of the Newtown Public Schools. Working under the direction of the program administrator and site supervisor, the childcare provider will assist in the daycare room working with children 8 weeks to 36 months old.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Reliable with the ability to follow the 10-month teacher work calendar established by the Board of Education each year
- Strong work ethic
- Friendly and positive personality
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience a plus, but not required
