About The Position

The Childcare Program Manager at Right At School is responsible for overseeing and delivering engaging enrichment programs for children before and after school. This role focuses on fostering a love of learning, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and providing support to families. The Program Manager will organize program materials, document attendance, and lead activities that promote academic and social development.

Requirements

• Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to model appropriate positive discipline.
• Works well in a team environment.
• A passion and drive that inspire a love for learning and the ability to engage children in fun learning activities.
• Respect for and dedication to working with children.
• At least 2 years of direct experience working with children under 13 years of age.
• 1 year of supervisory experience.
• 18+ years of age.
• Proof of High School Diploma or equivalent and 30 credits from 100 class or above in college coursework.
• Ability to meet state-specific requirements; FA/CPR, Mandated Reporter, Cleared TB, and Proof of an MMR.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children with special needs.
• Ability to lift 25lbs.

Responsibilities

• Organize program materials for lessons and activities, and document attendance and incidents.
• Deliver dynamic daily curriculum to engage children in academic and social character-building activities.
• Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain safety and attention of all children.
• Support homework completion, lead fitness activities, and guide children at play.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
• Meet regularly with the Program Manager regarding professional progress and team accountability.
