About The Position

We are seeking a CHILDCARE FLOAT TEACHER to join the New Horizon Academy team at our beautiful North Olathe location! As a New Horizon Academy educator, you will delight in our beautifully equipped classrooms and have support and encouragement from our knowledgeable support staff. You will be a brain-builder who will help shape the leaders of tomorrow!

Requirements

• Meet state requirements for teacher qualification as defined by the Kansas Child Care Licensing Program
• Previous childcare experience preferred
• Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule
• Positive work ethic and a team-centered attitude
• Willingness to learn and grow as an educator
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
• Ability to satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations

Nice To Haves

• Experience in Early Childhood Education or related field of work

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible, full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30am-6:00pm
• Meet state requirements for teacher qualification as defined by the Kansas Child Care Licensing Program
• Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff
• Understand state licensing regulations and company policies
• Provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States
• Perform required job duties with or without accommodations
