The Learning Experience in Elk Grove is hiring a joyful and flexible Childcare Float Teacher to support classrooms across all age groups from infants to preschool. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff. At TLE, we've created a full cast of characters that become our little learners' educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
Requirements
- Must meet California Community Care Licensing requirements including a minimum of 12 ECE or Child Development units. Verification required prior to hire
- Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education preferred
- Positive, dependable, and adaptable with strong teamwork skills
- Attentive to safety, detail, and the varying needs of each age group
Nice To Haves
- Infant and Toddler units preferred but not required
- Pyramid Plus or additional certifications are a plus
Responsibilities
- Support multiple classrooms including infants, toddlers, twaddlers, preppers, and preschool
- Create warm, safe, and engaging environments that meet developmental needs for each age group
- Assist with daily routines including diapering, feeding, toileting, meals, transitions, and learning activities
- Engage children through play based learning and age appropriate activities
- Communicate positively and professionally with parents and staff
- Implement TLE's award winning LEAP Curriculum
- Maintain clean, organized, and joyful classroom spaces
