We are currently seeking a qualified Cook for our Childcare Center. Previous professional Cook experience is required and experience with children is highly preferred.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must meet all state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.
- A valid driver's license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.
- High School diploma required
- Food Safety Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) required
Nice To Haves
- Previous professional Cook experience is required and experience with children is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve daily breakfast, lunch, and snacks in accordance with Ohio childcare nutrition requirements and NSLP
- Follow approved menus and modify meals as needed for children with allergies, sensitivities, and dietary restrictions
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and served at appropriate temperatures
- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and dining area-including food prep stations, storage areas, and equipment
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times
- Monitor food inventory and place supply and food orders weekly
