About The Position
Karnak Creative Child Care Center is a licensed childcare center located in Brownstown, MI, seeking dedicated Assistant Teachers to support various age groups. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the lead teacher in all aspects of classroom management, ensuring that the educational philosophy and goals of the center are upheld. This role requires a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for children, promoting their emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development through engaging activities. The Assistant Teacher will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe environment, establish professional rapport with families, and be open to feedback and constructive criticism to enhance the quality of the program. The position is full-time, with a required shift from Monday to Friday, and offers a competitive pay range of $13 - $14 per hour, depending on education and experience. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass all necessary background checks. Previous childcare experience is a plus but not mandatory.
