Requirements

  • Delaware Early Childhood Administrator Certification Issued By DEEDS or equivalent out-of-state certification/license
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in early childcare.
  • Minimum One (1-2) years experience in a Assistant/Associate Director role
  • Possesses high proficiency with using Microsoft suite of products to include Outlook/EXCEL/WORD/PPT/SharePoint
  • Experience using project management tools such as a Gantt Chart, Smart Action Plan (SAP) or similar tool used in the tracking, benchmarking and ownership of projects
  • The job requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, lifting and carrying; ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be able to operate a motor vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipates staffing needs; identifies and hires the best talent; assists in supervising, coaching, developing and motivating school staff
  • Assist in supporting orientation and on-going training; monitors and coaches staff in Celebree practices
  • In-depth community networking experience with strong marketing skills and experience creating and implementing in-school calendar and seasonal events to grow our community awareness. (Must have valid drivers license and be able to operate vehicle)
  • Provides staff with timely, specific feedback including classroom observations, one-on-ones and performance evaluations. Becomes fluent in brand and accredidation standards. Conducts daily brand review providing coaching, support and developement to staff.
  • Assists in promoting teamwork and enthusiasm; fosters commitment to Celebree mission, vision, and values—protect, educate, nurture
  • Ensures school is consistently clean, neat and organized and meets visual execution standards; recommends repair work as needed
  • Assists in supporting and leads new company initiatives; ensures adaptation of new programs, policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal and state laws, DELAWARE STATE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION-DELAWARE FIRST regulations, and Celebree standards, policies, and procedures
  • Assists in creating effective staff schedules; maintains accurate and complete employee and child files; regularly performs classroom observations and acts on deficiencies
  • Ensures School financials are up-to-date, accurate and organized
  • Demonstrates accountability and initiative; identifies opportunities/goals for the school.
  • Understands payroll and budget control and remains within target achieves enrollment goals
  • Alternates with School Director, opens (6:30 a.m.) and closes (6:30 p.m.) daily
  • Assists School Director in the oversight of talent, brand, and operations to ensure Celebree’s mission, vision and values are upheld
  • Seeks professional development opportunities; stays current on new practices in the child care and education industry
