About The Position
Under the direction of the Providence Health Learning Institute, the Childbirth Educator develops curriculum content requirements and instructs on various parenting topics and childbirth education topics. The role assures the use of appropriate educational technology and adult learning methodology to increase knowledge, skills, and competencies. Providence caregivers are valued and empowered, joining the team at Providence Ambulatory Services to provide patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect.
Requirements
- 2 years Related experience in the health care field and/or education experience with groups and individuals
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree
- Courses related to the health sciences field or early childhood education
- Upon hire: ICEA or ASPO Lamaze certification for childbirth education
