Child & Youth Mental Health Specialist - Cleveland
About The Position
The ideal candidate will have a background in child and youth mental health and demonstrate the ability to work successfully in a fast paced environment. Tri-County offers this position the opportunity to work an alternate schedule. Services will be held primarily in the community and in the homes of the children/youth on their caseload. This position serves the Splendora/New Caney area out of our Cleveland, TX office Are you driven to serve others? Are you the type of person that likes the be on the go? Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Behavioral Science Field.
- Must qualify as Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) as defined by Department of State Health Services (DSHS).
- Valid driver's license and be insurable through Tri-County.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (Spanish/English Fluency) preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide a combination of skills training and case management services for an identified caseload of children and youth and their families.
- Design and implement recovery plans.
- Conduct regular assessments.
- Provide services in a variety of settings, including the community, homes, and schools of the children and youth on your caseload.
- Collaborate with others in the community.
