About The Position

This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Annual Salary: Level I H16A - $29,600.55 + Full State Employee Benefits Level II H16B - $31,819.20 + Full State Employee Benefits Level III H16C - $34,999.65 + Full State Employee Benefits Travel is extensive. Must possess a valid driver's license and must maintain required car insurance. Minimum Qualifications Child Welfare Assistant I Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of six months of experience in general office clerical work, providing care for children in a licensed day care facility, sales, or public contact work Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one of the following for the required experience: (a) six months of technical or vocational training course work; or (b) the completion of 15 semester hours from a college or university. Child Welfare Assistant II Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of one year of clerical experience in a governmental or non-profit social services provider environment; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting thirty semester hours of college for the required experience. Child Welfare Assistant III Education and Experience requirements at this level consist of one year of clerical experience in a governmental or non-profit social services provider environment plus two additional years of clerical experience in a child welfare environment; Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting thirty semester hours of college for the required experience. Job Responsibilities: Assists and supports OK Successful Adulthood with the overall goal of assisting transition age youth, which supports Foster Care Youth and young adults that have experienced the foster care system. Performs administrative support tasks and other related duties to include general office duties, case documentation, and research for youth and young adult eligibility. Assists with case documentation and funding requests. Schedules and assists in meetings with youth and young adults, placement providers, caseworkers and community partners. Documents youth participating in youth engagement activities. Assist in increasing youth and young adult participation in various aspects of the OKSA program (Education and Training Voucher (ETV), Extended Foster Care, Youth Engagement, etc.) through outreach to include phone, email, social media, etc. Provides resource information to youth and young adults, caseworkers, placement providers and community partners. Preference may be given to candidate for former foster care youth. _______________________

Requirements
