In this role, you will support noncustodial parents by serving as the primary liaison between FSC W-2 programs and local Child Support Agencies (CSA). The Child Support Liaison connects individuals with limited earnings or ability to pay child support to employment, training, and supportive services that promote long-term self-sufficiency.

Requirements

  • Associate degree and two years of related experience, or equivalent combination
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commitment to helping individuals achieve self-sufficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in workforce development, employment services, or human services preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary liaison between FSC W-2 programs and Child Support Agencies (CSA)
  • Builds and maintains relationships with CSA staff and community partners supporting noncustodial parents.
  • Identifies and connects low-income noncustodial parents to employment and training services.
  • Coordinates referrals to workforce programs, including W-2, Transitional Jobs (TJ), Trial Employment Match Program (TEMP), FoodShare Employment and Training (FSET), WIOA, Vocational Rehabilitation, Veterans Employment Programs, and other supportive resources.
  • Collaborates with FSC staff to ensure coordinated service delivery and positive employment outcomes.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and supports program compliance.
