The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) independently provides comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis and/or treatment/interventions/advocacy of patients and their support systems. The LCSW incorporates concepts and theories associated with life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change. The Licensed Professional Counselor practices in a treatment setting under clinical supervision and is dedicated to evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric and substance use disorders. The Licensed Professional Counselor will collaborate with patient/support system to evaluate and diagnose patients. This position will provide specialized psychotherapy services, as described in the CPT, to reduce and/or resolve symptoms of psychiatric and/or substance use disorders identified. The CSWA Social Worker, under direct and continuous supervision, provides comprehensive biopsychosocial/spiritual assessment, diagnosis and/or treatment/interventions/advocacy of patients and their support systems. The CSWA incorporates concepts and theories associated with life span development, neurobiology, and behavioral change.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work from a CSWE Accredited School of Social Work, OR from a school in candidacy status by the council of Social Work Education (CSWE).
  • Upon hire: Oregon Clinical Social Worker License.
  • Upon hire: Social Worker License in state(s) of hire, and wherever care is delivered.
  • 2 years of Relevant Social Work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of experience in acute care settings.
  • 2 years of Clinical work experience within healthcare, hospice and/or bereavement.
  • 1 year of Master's level practicum in a behavioral health setting in an accredited college or university internship.
  • Additional experience in substance use treatment setting.
