About The Position

Our Child Nutrition staff play an integral part in serving our mission to continuously improve meals and services to meet nutritional requirements, provide a variety of menu items, and give the healthiest choices with the freshest ingredients available. As a General Worker, you would have the opportunity to share these improvements firsthand with the students of our District through the preparation and serving of our meals. Requirements

• High school diploma
• Constant standing, hand-eye and mind-eye coordination; frequent repetitive motions with wrists, hands and fingers, bending over, stooping, hearing, holding and crouching.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; adhere to District safety procedures.
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
• Consistent work attendance.

Responsibilities

• Prepares Food.
• Sets up serving line.
• Serves food.
• Cleans serving and preparation area.
• Washes dishes, pots, and pans.
• Restores order to serving area.
• Adheres to District safety procedures.
• Reads communications from Child Nutrition Services Office.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
