About The Position
Family Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Mental Health Therapist to join our Family Based Mental Health Program at our Leechburg office. As a vital member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing therapeutic support to children and their families. Qualifications: Child Mental Health Therapist: Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field. Clinical experience working with children and families is preferred. Two years of relevant experience working with children. LPC Supervision available. Child Mental Health Worker: Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field. One year of relevant experience working with children. Family Based Certification is possible after 3 years with salary increase.
Requirements
- Child Mental Health Therapist: Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Clinical experience working with children and families is preferred.
- Two years of relevant experience working with children.
- Evening and weekend on-call responsibilities are a key aspect of this position.
- Successful candidates must pass Act 33/34 and FBI clearances.

Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for children and families.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the client and their support system.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address the unique needs of each child and family.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
- Participate in regular supervision, case conferences, and professional development activities.
