About The Position

The Child Life Specialist is responsible for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of care plans to provide for the psychosocial, behavioral, recreational, developmental and educational needs of hospitalized children, based upon the child's age and developmental needs for a designated period of time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Child Life or related field required
• 2 years of experience working with children in clinical settings required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required

Nice To Haves

• Master's Degree in Child Life or related field preferred
• CCLS - Certified Child Life Specialist preferred
