About The Position
Provides Child Life evaluation, treatment, teaching, and consultation to infant, toddler, latent, and adolescent patients referred for Child Life services. Implements services in accordance with departmental standards and specific hospital protocol.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program in Child Life or related field
- 1 year of related experience
- Successful completion of a full-time (minimum 480 hour internship) supervised by a CCLS
- CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation CPR Certification Upon Hire
- CCLS - Certified Child Life Specialist current certification through CLC as a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) Upon Hire
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree from an accredited program in Child Life or related field
