About The Position
The Child Life Specialist at Children's Minnesota is responsible for promoting the continuous development of children to optimize their responses to medical care, minimize psychological stress and trauma, and enhance understanding and coping with illness and healthcare experiences. This role involves advocating for children and families, providing resources related to child development, and facilitating opportunities for play, learning, and self-expression in both ambulatory and inpatient settings.
