About The Position

Are you someone who connects easily with others and wants to make a meaningful difference for children with disabilities? Easterseals Florida is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Child Find Outreach Specialist to help expand community awareness of our North Beaches Coast Early Steps program. In this role, you will build relationships, educate families and providers, and ensure that our community understands how to connect young children—birth to age three—to early intervention services. Your outreach efforts will directly help children with developmental delays receive the support they need during the most critical years of development.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated, outgoing, and results-oriented, with a strong ability to meet goals
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, including active listening
  • Ability to present effectively to diverse audiences in various settings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required, for program-related needs (minimum age of 21 and good driving history)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
  • Prior community outreach experience preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Represent Easterseals Florida/Early Steps at community events, health fairs, and industry gatherings to increase brand and program awareness
  • Distribute outreach materials that help families understand our services and referral process
  • Build relationships with pediatricians, medical specialists, hospitals, education agencies, and other community providers
  • Provide individualized education regarding Early Steps eligibility and referral processes
  • Generate new referrals through strong partnerships and consistent outreach
  • Accurately monitor and track referral activity, conversion data, and follow-up outcomes
  • Provide routine updates and reports on outreach activity and referral trends
