What we're looking for: As a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic, CNS Healthcare's mission is to serve the people of our communities. We are looking for a Children's Clinician to support our children's outpatient therapy program to provide clinical assessment, individual, family, and group therapy, treatment, crisis planning, and support services to children and families in the clinic and community settings. Children's outpatient therapy strengthens family relationships to improve functioning at home, school, and in the community. The program provides services that are member-directed, goal-oriented, and family-focused. Please Note : This position provides opportunities for some remote flexibility upon the successful completion of the training/onboarding period. Compensation Range: The starting pay for this position is $47,600 - $56,000 for limited licensed candidates, and $51,850 - $61,000 annual salary for fully licensed candidates, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.   • Use evidence-based practices to provide individual, family, and group therapy
  • Conduct face-to-face comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
  • Formulate and coordinate person-centered treatment plans
  • Collaborate and participates with treatment team, community partners, and other natural supports as identified by the family
  • Assist families with referral, linking, and coordination to community resources, and provide education on how to access and utilize supports independently.
  • Assist families with accessing and utilizing community supports
  • Act as liaison between the child/family and their natural support system, primary care physicians, and other community agencies identified by the family
  • Coordinate care with families, schools, DHHS/foster care, and other community agencies.
  • Initiate referrals for psychiatric evaluations when deemed clinically appropriate
  • Provide case management support for children and families as needed
  • Participate in case conferences and staff meetings
  • Utilize clinical supervision, respond to directives, and implement feedback.
  • Prepare reports for other agencies, DHHS, courts, schools, etc. as needed
  • Obtain and maintain CAFAS rater-reliability and conduct quarterly CAFAS assessments
  • Utilize a trauma-informed approach to services
  • Complete all required documentation completely, accurately, and in accordance with CNS policy
  • Meet direct service productivity and documentation standards per agency and program expectations
  • Ensure that the CNS Healthcare standards of service are applied to interactions with individuals served, guests, and staff.
  • Participate in and promote departmental and agency quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance with established policies and procedures, corporate compliance program, code of ethics, applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, HIPAA standards, and other regulatory programs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • State licensure: Limited-Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LLMSW), Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LMSW), Limited-Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Limited-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LLMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Temporary Limited-License Psychologist (TLLP), OR Limited-Licensed Psychologist (LLP)
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft office products
  • Proficient in the use of electronic health records (EHRs)
  • Ability to work closely with persons with mental or physical limitations
  • Ability to understand and value cultural and ethnic differences, their alternatives perspectives, lifestyles, etc.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive working relationships
  • Ability to recognize the importance of collecting and reporting on outcome data
  • Ability to apply methods for measuring the multiple variables of treatment outcome
  • Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously
  • Ability to use discretion and judgmental when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature
  • Advanced time management, problem solving, customer service, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department
  • Basic knowledge of cognitive behavioral therapy.
  • Understanding of substance use and co-occurring disorders treatment.
  • Prior experience in a community mental health setting
