Joseph J. Peters Institute, a nationally recognized provider serving survivors of trauma as well as individuals engaging in problem sexual behavior and relational violence, seeks a fee-for-service Child & Family Clinician. The Child & Family Clinician will serve as a member of a specialized Child PSB team. This team provides assessment of children who are exhibiting sexual behavior problems/sexual reactivity and provides treatment that incorporates Body Safety, a psychoeducational program that teaches children what typical and atypical sexual behaviors are and how they can keep themselves safe. In addition, the team works with families to implement good boundaries and privacy practices and to provide closer supervision of children when interacting with media such as the internet. Clinicians on the Child PSB team receive evidence-based practice training in CBT-PSB for School Aged Children. WORKSITE: Work will be primarily conducted at JJPI’s Chestnut Street clinic in Center City Philadelphia. SCHEDULE: Primarily afternoon and evening hours
