About The Position

The Child Development Resource Center Specialist develops and implements training and technical assistance for childcare providers and parents in a 12 county region. Assumes responsibility for one or more of the following aspects of program operation: The Learning Center, The Rolling Resources Van, and/or General Training and Technical Assistance. Oversees resources associated with programs. Prepares and conducts training for early childhood providers in a variety of areas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in child development, early childhood/elementary education, or Family Studies and one (1) year of experience in Child Development, Parent Education, or direct service with families; OR master's degree or higher in child development, early childhood/elementary education, or Family Studies.
  • Must have valid U.S. driver's license.
  • Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies.
  • Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
  • Prior to hiring, the final candidate(s) must successfully pass a pre-employment background investigation and information obtained from social media and other internet sources.
  • A prior conviction reported as a result of the background investigation DOES NOT automatically disqualify a candidate from consideration for this position.
