About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and passionate Child Care Cook to plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals for our children in accordance with USDA/CACFP guidelines. The ideal candidate loves working in a child-centered environment and understands the importance of healthy, balanced meals for growing children. This position is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–1:00 PM, at the Arthur J. Glatfelter YMCA in York. Employees enjoy FREE use of the facilities at all branches, including our outdoor pools, gym, and wellness centers. Staff also receive discounts on YMCA programs and lessons.

Requirements

• Obtain a State Police certification
• Obtain a Child Abuse certification
• Obtain a NSOR certification
• Obtain a FBI certification
• Obtain a negative Mantoux TB test
• Obtain a physical
