About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Child Development Assistant to support teachers in delivering educational activities that foster social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth in children. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment.

• Food Handler Permit
• CPR & First Aid Certificate

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in planning and implementing educational activities that promote child development.
• Aid in the preparation of weekly classroom activities and materials.
• Support field trip organization and logistics.
• Ensure workstations are sanitized and maintained for a safe learning environment.
• Help arrange and organize the classroom to enhance learning experiences.
• Act as an advocate for the childcare program, promoting its values and mission.
• Adhere to Department Policies and Procedures, as well as the Gunnison Valley Hospital Mission, Vision, Values, and Motto of “The Patient is First in All We Do.”
