About The Position

The Social Sciences Division is currently accepting applications for part-time Child Development Instructors. This position requires a strong educational background in child development or related fields, with a focus on early childhood education. Candidates must possess either a Master's degree in child development, early childhood education, human development, home economics/family and consumer studies with a specialization in child development/early childhood education, or educational psychology with a specialization in child development/early childhood education. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in any of the aforementioned fields is acceptable, provided the candidate also holds a Master's degree in social work, educational supervision, elementary education, special education, psychology, bilingual/bicultural education, life management/home economics, family life studies, or family and consumer studies, or the equivalent.

Requirements

• Master's in child development, early childhood education, human development, home economics/family and consumer studies with a specialization in child development/early childhood education, or educational psychology with a specialization in child development/early childhood education
• OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in social work, educational supervision, elementary education, special education, psychology, bilingual/bicultural education, life management/home economics, family life studies, or family and consumer studies
• OR the equivalent.
