The Child Care Worker position involves the care, supervision, and management of infants, toddlers, and preschool children in an early care and education center.   • Care for and supervise a class of infants (6 weeks to 12 months) and toddlers (24 to 36 months).

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
  • Assist in the personal hygiene of children, including diaper changes and hand washing.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.
  • Facilitate interactive parent and child literacy activities.
  • Work collaboratively with teacher aides and paraprofessionals to support students.
  • Lead story time and circle time activities.
  • Experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to create a warm and nurturing environment for children.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changes in the program and assignments.
  • Reliability and a supportive attitude towards children and families.
  • Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
  • Experience in lesson planning and classroom management.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a childcare setting.
  • Competitive hourly wage of $13 - $15 per hour.
  • Full-time schedule with day shifts from Monday to Friday.
