The Child Care Worker position involves the care, supervision, and management of infants, toddlers, and preschool children in an early care and education center. The role focuses on creating a nurturing environment, developing and implementing educational activities, and maintaining communication with parents to support child development and well-being.

  • Care for and supervise a class of infants (6 weeks to 12 months) and toddlers (24 to 36 months).
  • Create and implement lesson plans and learning outcomes for preschool children.
  • Conduct observations and assessments of each child's growth and learning.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents regarding their child's progress.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom.
  • Assist in the personal hygiene of children, including diaper changes and hand washing.
  • Organize and maintain a clean and safe classroom environment.
  • Facilitate interactive parent and child literacy activities.
  • Work collaboratively with teacher aides and paraprofessionals to support students.
  • Lead story time and circle time activities.
  • Experience working with young children in a childcare setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

  • Competitive hourly wage of $13 - $15 per hour.
