About The Position
Provides physical, emotional and intellectual stimulation and safety of children 0-5 years while working in the church's nurseries. Works under the direction of the Kids Jr Coordinator and Next Gen Pastor.
Responsibilities
- Develop a Christ-centered relationship with the children and co-laborers
- Interact with the children through play, games, and activities
- Assist to ensure order within the classroom
- Participate in classroom activities, i.e., praise and worship, story and lesson time, prayer, etc.
- Assisting children during various classroom activities, i.e., crafts, snacks, etc.
- Support Ministry Leadership
- Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined within The Heights Church Kids Ministry Worker’s Manual
- Enthusiastically complete any tasks and assignments
- All Ministry Workers are expected to participate in the following aspects of the ministry: room preparation and cleanup, praise and worship, prayer, lesson activities, and craft time.
- Be available to attend any training or meetings scheduled by the Next Gen Pastor or The Heights Kids Jr Coordinator.
