About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Child Care Teacher to join our team at the Childcare Learning Center in Corpus Christi, TX. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of early childhood education principles. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children, fostering their development through play and structured activities. The Child Care Teacher will work with various age groups, including toddlers and preschoolers, and may also support children with special needs.

Requirements

  • Strong background in early childhood education or related field.
  • Experience working with children in daycare settings or similar environments.
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures and child safety protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively with children who have disabilities or require special education support.
  • Proficiency in toddler care and preschool educational practices.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
  • Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual children.
  • Previous experience as a nanny or in classroom settings is a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Child Development Associate Certification (Preferred)
  • 1 year of teaching experience (Preferred)
  • 1 year of childcare experience (Preferred)
