Lifesteps is hiring a Part-Time Child Care Staff Substitute in the Beaver area. Lifesteps is a non-profit human services organization which has been serving Western Pennsylvania for nearly 100 years by “helping individuals and families with life's changing needs”. Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and one of the following:
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
• 30 credit hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services field.
• 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services field and 1250 hours of work experience related to the care and development of children.
• 2500 hours of work experience related to the care and development of children.
• Able to multi-task and work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services field
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Special Education, Elementary Education, or Human Services field

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of Supervisor, Children’s Services, ensures the needs of the children are met and assists in the implementation and direction of daily routines and activities.
