About The Position

General Purpose of Job: To act as a customer service representtive for the Michigan Athletic Club by serviing as a child care provider to both members' and employees' children ages 8wks - 12yrs in Kid's Klub. Essential Duties: This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Associates may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position. Provide a safe and fun place for children Provide excellent customer service Interact with children Change diapers as needed Check children in and out with parent/guardian Complete all necessary paperwork General cleaning of Kid's Klub Answering phone and basic computer Serves as a role model for consistent demonstration of Sparrow Health System’s Customer Service Behavioral Standards of Performance, by respecting the Privacy and Confidentiality of those we serve. Demonstrates knowledge and respects patient, service provider, organizational confidentiality and HIPAA Security procedures and protocols as defined under the HIPAA Privacy and Security Procedures. Follows established HIPAA privacy procedures when using and/or disclosing protected health information. Maintains and protects patients’ rights under the HIPAA Privacy Standards. Adheres to ICARE values (Innovation, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Excellence)

Requirements

Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification
High school diploma, GED or successful completion of 12 grades combined with continued enrollment in early college program
Outgoing personality and excellent interpersonal skills
Strong team player
Passion for working with youth
Role model for youth, teaching by example

Nice To Haves

College work in child development or related field preferred
1-2 years child care experience

Responsibilities
