About The Position

This position is responsible to supervise and monitor the safety of the children in their care; as well as organize mealtimes and snacks for children and to develop schedules and routines to ensure that children have enough physical activity, rest, and playtime. Also, provides a variety of materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate and use, both in learning activities and in imaginative play. Facilitates children in problem-solving.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• 45-Hour Course in Early Childhood or willing to obtain within 6-months of employment.
• Minimum of 1-year experience working with young children in an early childhood setting or babysitting, or a public-school setting at a grade level no higher than elementary school.
• First Aid/CPR Certified and Food Hander's Certification or willing to obtain within the first 6-months of employment.
• Health Determination/TB Skin Test and Fingerprint Background Check prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) is preferred.
• Driver's License/Proof of Insurance is preferred.
