About The Position

Leading a classroom takes a special kind of skill. As a Lead Teacher, you are caring, engaging, learning, and inspiring. You will follow all licensing guidelines, school, and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child. You will develop your ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children, as well as effectively communicate with families. You will complete ongoing professional development on Montessori pedagogy and early childhood development topics. You will implement the Montessori curriculum (with assistance of the Director, a School Education Manager, Team Lead, or faculty mentor) and facilitate engaging interactive learning experiences. Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Experience in a licensed child care center, Montessori school, or related field.
  • Completed a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Met state requirements for education; additional school requirements may apply.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous lead teacher experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and coursework in early childhood education.
