Merck is seeking an experienced, full-time Instructional Coach for our West Point Child Learning Center in Lansdale, PA! Developed in the spirit of Merck, the childcare centers are dynamic, nurturing, inclusive environments where children participate in experiences promoting invention and discovery. All Merck childcare centers are NAEYC accredited and enjoy spacious, state-of-the-art facilities, each with its own thoughtfully designed playground. We are currently offering a $2,000 hiring incentive to new hires, paid out after 100 days of employment. This full time position will offer a rotating weekly schedule. This approach offers variety in start and end times, helping to balance personal and professional needs while supporting team coverage throughout the day. Our centers are open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, M-F. Enjoy working alongside our Teachers at West Point Child Learning Center, with a stellar STEM lab and a Cooking room to enhance your Teaching experience! Requirements
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks, and meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements:
- CDA with an educational plan to complete associate degree is required
- At least three years of professional experience teaching in high-quality child care, daycare, or preschool settings is required
Nice To Haves
- Associate or higher degree in early childhood education or child development related field is preferred
- Experience working in a NAEYC-accredited center is preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead a team in implementing high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with our philosophy and anti-bias education
- Be a curriculum expert and use educational quality tools to assess and enhance program implementation
- Partner and communicate effectively with families, while mentoring new teachers and serving as a role model for the teaching team
